The Ethical Wedding Show
Nola London are super excited to share that we are taking part in The Ethical Wedding Show hosted by the contemporary wedding blog, Magpie Wedding.
The show is on 23 October at The Ecology Pavilion, Mile End and is perfect for couples planning a wedding while considering the impact they have on the planet.
Their tagline is “the show for couples who love the planet as well as each other” which is something we agree on!
We will be there showcasing our full range of sustainable bridesmaid and occasionwear dresses, separates and accessories. To be allowed to exhibit at the show we have had to show that we support 3 of the 5 criteria points which are:

SUPPORTING LOCAL – to bring down their carbon footprint, to support communities and small businesses here in the Uk

NO SINGLE-USE PLASTIC – reducing plastic use overall and cutting out single-use plastic

BEST RECYCLING PRACTICES – using recycled materials, and recycling afterward

CARING FOR WILDLIFE – adding a large vegan choice, not using chemicals that harm nature, and generally loving the planet

SUPPORTING OTHER ECO INITIATIVES – supporting charities, reducing waste, donating after the day, excellent working practices, hand-making items that last forever.
We are so proud to support UK manufacturing and a slower approach to fashion. All of our dresses are made in London using 100% natural, sustainably sourced materials. We make in small quantities to ensure no overproduction or waste.
Any leftover fabric is reimagined into our accessories range.
Each dress has been designed to celebrate our individual characters and make the wearer feel truly special. We want our dresses to be worn time and time again. The show is a bit different from a standard show; couples can fully immerse themselves in wedding planning with supportive and informative talks, seminars and workshops.
